Day 1. St Arnard water taxi to Coldwater Hut to Upper Travers Hut (lunch at John Tait) Travel time aprrox. 7hrs.

Day 2. Upper Travers Hut to Sabine Hut (Lake Rotoroa) Travel time approx. 9hrs.

Day 3. Sabine Hut to Angelus Hut. Travel time approx. 5hrs.

Day 4. Side trip from Angelus Hut to MT Angelus (2.5 hrs round trip with plenty of stops), Angelus out to MT Roberts road end. Travel time approx. 4hrs.

Pros & cons summary
Definitely a fantastic trip that's worth doing this way round as there is a harsh drop from Travers Pass down that would not be nice going up. We were told that the side trip up to Blue Lake from West Sabine Hut is well worth it (will be doing it next time). I would not recommend going from Upper Travers Hut to Sabine in a day.
Fantastic side trips to be had in the Travers Valley, the possibilities seem endless.
