LWTC Event Calendar

Some of the events run by the club are:

  • Ski races - a club champion is crowned every year
  • Tramps - to numerous locations including Waiopehu Hut in the Tararua Ranges
  • Work parties - for those keen to spend time at the lodge during the summer months for the purpose of lodge maintenance and upkeep.

    Advertised club events are generally able to be used in qualifying for membership. Contact the organiser for more details.

    11 September 2010 Wellington Interclub Ski Races
    I am going to enter a team from LWTC to compete in a revival of this prestigious competition, hosted by Tararua Tramping Club this year. Trophy and bragging-rights up for grabs. Please let me know if you're keen to compete and make sure you book yourself into the Lodge for that weekend. Otherwise I might just have to come shoulder-tapping on those who are going to be there anyway!!!! Cheers, Kath (Ski Captain)
    Various throughout ski season Day Walks - Membership Qualifiers
    During the ski season, Sue Clelland (Tramping Coordinator) will be running Day Walks from the Levin-Waiopehu Ski Lodge at Mt Ruapehu. For more information, call Sue at the Ski Lodge on (07) 892 3802
